Case study

Yonsei Pyeonhan Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic: an AI adoption case study

RenaAi builds alternative data with its own methodology and connects it to global financial markets. This case study records what comes out at the end of that chain: a hands-on test of how data analysis carries through to one business’s operations and value.

We analyzed competing clinics’ public channels to set the positioning, then built and are now running a dedicated AI Agent for the director and a new website. The change confirmed so far is in blog views.

Starting point

Where the clinic stood at the start

Like many neighborhood clinics, its website was dated, many visitors simply left, and even the director’s introduction was thin. RenaAi is redesigning the clinic’s online channels with AI.

The four stages below are what we actually did. For each stage, we list the materials used and what came out.

What we did

What data we used and what we built

From competitor analysis to execution: the materials and results of each stage, as they were.
  1. 1

    Competitor analysis

We used AI to examine what competing clinics do well and what they miss.

    Materials used

Websites, Naver Place listings and advertising strategies of competing clinics in the Byeollae area (pain medicine, orthopedics, etc.)

We mapped which patients competing clinics attract and where they lose them, and found the gaps where this clinic could get ahead.

  2. 2

    Strategy research

We decided what this clinic should be known for, in one phrase.

    Materials used

Competitor analysis results · Dr. Jin-oh Hong’s expertise, philosophy and voice

We positioned the rehabilitation medicine clinic as “the place to get better without surgery — a non-surgical specialty center.” We distilled who Dr. Jin-oh Hong is as a physician into a single persona, establishing the image of a director patients can trust and seek out.

  3. 3

    Action plan

We decided what to actually build.

    Materials used

Results of the two previous stages

We designed two deliverables. First, a dedicated AI Agent for Dr. Jin-oh Hong that writes blog posts in his voice and with his expertise. Second, a full website overhaul that improves the patient experience so that patients who arrive by searching their symptoms trust the clinic and go on to book.

  4. 4

    Execution

We did not stop at the plan; we built it and are running it.

    Materials used

The AI Agent we designed · the redesigned website

The AI Agent is actively writing blog posts, and the redesigned website has been deployed and is in operation.

Blog views after revising 10% of posts

We revised only about 87 of 874 posts with AI. Weekly blog views then grew roughly fourfold.

Why this connects to enterprise value

When a clinic depends on one director, revenue stops when the director takes time off. When an AI Agent and a redesigned platform attract and manage patients, the clinic becomes a clinic that runs on systems. Such a clinic can command a higher price in a sale, investment or succession. That is what RenaAi means by enterprise value.

Director’s reaction

Dr. Jin-oh Hong, on first seeing the AI solution

What the director said on the spot at the demo, quoted as is.
With this, liberal arts people are all going to starve.
It goes far beyond what a person can do.
It knows our clinic better than I do.
I thought it was something I wrote after drinking last night.
